Are all the octavia mudflaps the same or do i need to order special ones for the vrs plz

Cheers

Is this flaps part 2!?

The link I posted in the earlier 'flaps' thread details the two different types of mudflaps.

Oooh not seen that mate, will have a search.I take it vrs ones are different then ?

No, the flaps are the same, the difference being the later (non-vRS) Octavia's have a rounded profile, but these are available for the rear only.

If you want front and rears you'll need the older square profile, the problem is they aren't a perfect fit on the rear due to the slightly different profile of the vRS's rear bumper but are close enough (for me).

Part numbers and fitting advice are all in the link on the other thread.

Skoda don't do flaps for the vRS. if you want both front and rear you can get a set of 4 to fit the standard Octy from your dealer which will be cheaper than buying them seperatly. The fronts go on without any problems but as Silver says the rears are a bit more fiddly as the rear profile on the vRS is slightly different but they do go on- some soak them in warm water to help. I took my rear wheels off as it makes the job a lot easier.
