Hi lads, I've had my 07 Vrs diesel re-mapped professionally but there have been some issues with it.

First of all I've had it done with a reputable company.

The problem is, there are flat spots at about 3500 revs in 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th gears.

Ive had the car back to him and he tried using a different re-map file without success.

He has said now that there may be an issue with my air flow sensor, however no fault showed up when he ran a test on it.

He said that he's done vrs's about 10 times without having this problem but he'll look into it more and if all comes to all he'll refund the money.

Has anyone else had any issue like this?

Apparently joe power in Dublin is the only man to remap a pd170 so maybe give him a shout.

Got to the root of the problem, my abs unit hasn't been working for a while and that's causing the flat spots!

Was just thinking about this post last night....was thinking that there would be flat spot after 3500 revs!!...My old remapped fab RS had nothing really past 3000 revs so 3500 would have been useless!!...im sure more folk will come along with better info
