How do I mend this?

Featured Replies

Hi all, one of the horizontal slats in the centre air vent has come loose, does it twist and click back into place?

That looks like a replacment vent unit to me.

I think mine did that and just clicked back...

You can remove the entire centre storage box, then have a look from behind. It may have either just unclipped, or it could have snapped. If the latter you'll need to replace the whole storage box. However there are plenty around, and from newer models with the lid aswell.

One of my rear seat vents has done the same (kicked by the kids).

It clicks back into place but as soon as the vent is closed and opened again it reverts back to being broken!

Thanks all

Removed the storage box, simple process, my big fingers struggled to disconnect/reconnect the hazard warning cable!!

The little peg on the edge of the flap had jumped out of its locating hole, a carefull bend with some long nosed pliars and it jumped back into place, works perfectly

Note to self......take more care with Sat Nav bracket!!

Regards all and thanks for your help
