does anyone elses octy have a knocking noise when they depress the clutch after they have given it a dam good thrashing with out traction control on....give it time to cool or sevral mins normal driving and it goes away...what is it knocking?? btw clutch feels fine no slipping or anything...injectors maybe??

...note thrashing can be achived with out breaking speed limits or endagering other people...

Yeah, I noticed this yesterday. Mine's only very faint though and seems to do it most of the time....

It happens on mine too... very freaky :confused:

Its something to do with the clutch release spring thing.. they are often put to close to the clutch so it knocks.. It is nothing to worry about, its just annoying.

I posted about this about 6 months ago. No one replied and it hasnt done it since so I've not worried too much.

Very scary the first time though - sudden thoughts of "**** I've broken the car"
