Thought id finally sign up. For the third time im seriously looking into a mk1 octavia vrs.

May end up with some stupid questions but il find my way lol.

Im more into jap cars so have little knowledge of places to go with a vag. All i know is i should look at getting vagcom asap and tuning in the early stages at least is easier and cheaper than with a jap car

Thanks guys. I currently have a celica. Love it to bits but with 2 young kids im struggling finding the spare time or money needed. The drive is great but for more power it needs either a turbo or supercharger conversion. Either way it would be realistically around £5k for 250-300bhp. With kids getting that bit older a stage1 vrs will do me nicely. No doubt those plans will be extended should i ever find some spare £. Im sure i wont be the first or last caught in that trap

Giving myself a Lil bump, good news in that the money for a vrs should be here very soon and I'm hoping to get 1 in weeks if not days. Starting to get a bit excited
