Can you give any further info. They are recommended for Vauxhall and people I know with Vauxhalls are happy with them.

I know Shark is tried and tested but just looking about and checking other options.

Dave

I had my old audi allroad mapped with one of those maps and it was faultless with very good power.

Formerly Chipped UK I believe....

I had my Audi mapped by chipped uk and the car didnt run to well and was not boosting well and hickupping , I ended up getting my car mapped at Mrc tuning and was perfect!

Well MRC are just superb on Audis, they always have been and will probably always will be.

I know quite a few people with a different view on MRC.

Viezu started off as Chipped uk but went bust owing other tuning companies a lot of money. The owner started the company up again shortly after in his wifes name trading under Viezu. That's what I've heard anyway.

I've heard of some very bad mapping by them, in fact there has been some very dangerous software released.

Try one of the sponsors or I can personally recommend DNA tuning.

I will be getting my vrs done by DNA tuning , Im just in two minds weather to go K04 route or not

A lot of "I heard" these days

This was Facebook chat between 3 very well known tuners.

Please tell me more re MRC. I'm getting my S4 mapped soon and top of the list is MRC, simply because they have a faultless reputation over on RS246.

PM me if you prefer :)

MRC Tuning are very good with what they do they specialise in Audi's ,S and RS models ,Doug and Mihnea have been about for some time now and mapping these models, They do mapping on other models too, When i had my car mapped they didnt have a rolling road so live mapping was done on the road lol, There new premises has a 4 wheel rolling road now.

I used chipped Uk on my last car, a BMW 32od Auto. It was a Viezu OBD box that was sent out. The whole process was very straight forward and the car was great after the map was uploaded. Chipped UK were one of the most popular mappers on numerous BMW forums hence why i used them.

I ran the car mapped for about 2 and a half years and never had a single problem. Very smooth and responsive with a naticable increase is shove. Cant say i noticed any improved MPG but it certainly never got any worse.

I would recommend them to anyone with a BMW.

No idea how good their stuff is for VAG cars and it seems to be other tuners that get recommended on this forum. As long as you get a sensible map i doubt you will have any problems but if i was to map my VRS ( i probably wont ) then id probably use one of the tuners recommended on here as its the easiest way to get some feedback rather than picking someoen youve never heard of.
