I have a sticker in the handbook folder of my 1.4, 2WD warning against jacking on the rear axle beam. Should this be stuck on one of the rear suspension arms or is it only for the 4x4?

Yes it should be stuck on the back of one of the beams; the dealer should have done this as part of the PDI, along with a brake fluid service sticker under the bonnet.

Had the same thing with mine, so I placed it on the nearside beam, as the exhaust slightly masks it's presence when on the road.
