hi guys, i have a 4x4 elgance 4x4, i have got headlights washer's but no xenon is this right? because i thought you only need headlights washers for xenon set up?

Elegance and L&K trims have headlight washers, but were fitted with standard lights, unless a factory upgrade was specified when ordered.

4x4s also get the washers incase you use them in the mud, as far as I know. Mine has washers but no xenons too.

Headlight washer have been around longer than xenon lights

Its to help keep the headlights clear, due to the intended allroad OEM spec of the car (mud, etc getting thrown around)

Headlight washers and wipers have been a feature of many Saab's and Volvo's over the years

iirc the idea behind using them with xenon, is so that the more intense light of the xenon doesn't get deflected (by crud on the lens) and blind other drivers

They are needed for HIDs but they have been fitted to lots of things for years. Very handy for keeping the lights clean
