Skoda Fixed Price Maintenance Price increase

Featured Replies

Hello all, just to advise contacted my local dealer today to get the cambelt and water pump replaced on my Octavia under Skoda's fixed price scheme for £369 (price quoted online) to be advised that the prices had increased to £349 for the cambelt (£299 still quoted online) and if I wanted the water pump replaced it would be an additional £100. Luckily I phoned around and Camberley Service Centre confirmed that they would match the online quoted price of £369. I have not used them before as I normally do my own servicing and repairs.

Regards,

Your dealer is pulling a fast one, avoid. I doubt Skoda UK would try and charge more before updating their site...

Even if the prices have gone up then they should stand by those prices displayed on the internet until Skoda UK can be bothered to update them.

It is worth noting dealers aren't obliged to adhere to the 'National Pricing', its voluntary for the franchised dealers.

If your local dealer doesn't want the work then don't give it to them, there are plenty that do.

Glad you managed to get the right price elsewhere though

They have put the prices up,my local dealer sent some info through & it had the new prices on it.

I'd imagine you'd have a strong case to pay the current prices given the prices on the website.
