Remove rear door cards?

Featured Replies

Hi all, i have recently bought new better speakers for my Fabia to replace the old ones in the door cards, one has decided to give up completly and every now and again give off a load crackle! I have replaced the 2 front speakers without any problems but...i can not get the back cards off because of the window handles (roll up/down) my question is...how do i get the handles off...without snapping them ofcourse! :-D

OK, not 100% on the MkII but if it's the same as the MkI then;

With the window winder pointing down, you'll see at the top of the winder a 'slit' between the front most and the back, grasp the rear part between your forefinger and thumb tightly and pull upwards. I't should click and stop. Then pull the whole winder away from the door card to reveal just the splined shaft. Refitting is the opposite of removal. HTH

...many guides here with pictures :)
