Boost Leak, What size couplers are needed for 90 degree bend?

Featured Replies

I think I have a leak at the 90 degree bend at bottom of the SMIC, looked at skoda replacement and their asking over £100! Is it easy enough to build your own using silicon hose and couplers such as these?

Anyone know what diameter I would need? tried searching but can't seem to find what I'm looking for. Seen lots of people replacing with silicon hoses an alloy for the top boost pipe from the egr to the intercooler but not the bottom pipe from the intercooler to the turbo.

Thanks

Forge have the couplers specially for the intercooler, so the measurements on there should give you at least half your answer.
