Ebay CAI-need filter, but which one?

Featured Replies

I won a used ebay filter assembly a few days ago, I knew it came without a filter, which I did`nt mind as I believe the filters they fitted were not the best, but it comes with everything else, pipes, clips, brackets etc.

Looking for a filter for it, without going too crazy on the price, any recommendations?

This any good? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/330599177302?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649

Or better stick with a Pipercross like this? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/271088023677?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649

I got a k&n one off eBay for a golf gti for a fiver delivered, looked crap on the pic and came looking crap, but once cleaned and oiled looks like new lol

Sent from my Galaxy S3, not a Crapple!

Yeah, could go K&N too, hmm decisions...

I would go for a jetex cone filter mate, theres a thread somewhere and they did dyno runs vs the ebay filter and the difference was around 10hp iirc! Give bill a ring at badger 5, they are about £50 inc postage

Cheers guys, but I think The Jetex/JR filter is the one for me, and a bargain too from part-box so it seems!

Can you link to the one you bought? That site is awful. Can't navigate half of it :(

That's brilliant, thanks mate!
