Hi all just bought a 57 plate octavia vrs tdi in silver with 50k on the clock. Have been reading a lot of people on here saying that they get a smile on there faces with these cars and have to say your right as I have a permanent grin at the moment.

Have to admit tho that if someone turned round to me 25 years ago and said you would own a skoda I would of laughed in there face but have to say I've been proven wrong. I can't believe such a practical family hatch can be as bonkers a drive as it is and I'm glad I got it. Really looking to having a lot more fun with this car in future

Welcome to the forum. There's still an amazing amount of people who don't know what they're missing and base their opinions on pre VW days, which is a constant source of amusement to me. Some are subsequently pleasently surprised, others beyond redemption!
