Excellent new (ish) product from SuperPro.

All in one solution for correcting suspension on lowered cars

Folk here are keen on lowering their Fabias but lowering basically messes up the cars handling actually reducing grip by causing more roll and effecting dynamic geometry settings.

The SuperPro arms have roll centre correction bushings, caster PU bushings all in a light weight alloy arm design - nice

SuperPro Supaloy & Roll Control Products for VAG Applications

SuperPro are proud to announce that Supaloy light-weight aluminium control arms for MK5 & MK6 Golf based cars from the various Volkswagen Audi Group manufacturers are now available from stock in Europe.

These eagerly awaited kits represent the latest innovation from Australian Suspension Guru’s SuperPro combining the class leading performance of SuperPro polyurethane suspension bushes with lightweight, high-stress & corrosion resistant metal-alloy arms delivering 44% reduction in un-sprung weight when compared with VAG original cast steel arms. The package is supplied with the separate rear mounting bracket as standard making installation for the workshop a straightforward process.

The SuperPro polyurethane bushes are pre-fitted to the arms with the material’s free pivoting characteristics combined with high levels of resilience ensure that the cars wheels are positively located resulting in improved steering precision & feedback, while the offset rear control arm bush dials in extra caster for greater straight line stability and turn-in. Part number for a pair of arms including the rear mounting brackets with SuperPro bushes pre-fitted is ALOY0001K.

If you do not feel the need to replace the complete arm, you can still enjoy some of the benefits by fitting just the rear bush & mounting bracket. This will improve the location of the original arm and also has the pre-set offset for caster increase. Part number ALOY3273-80K.

To complete the package, SuperPro have added to their Roll-control range an adjustable ball joint which can be used in combination with the original VAG arm or as the finishing touch for the new Supaloy arms. Featuring an extended ball pin for roll centre adjustment and a slotted mounting plate for camber adjustment adding this ball joint to the Supaloy arms gives you the perfect adjustable performance upgrade. Part Number TRC0003.

To summarise: These new products from SuperPro will offer reduced unsprung weight, better more consistent alignment geometry and improved longevity of Tyres & other components while enhancing the driving experience.

These are for the Mk5 and Mk6 golf chassis.

There are other superpro bushes that offer a similar 'anti lift' property, but as yet no alloy arms :(
