so do they make one for a 1.4 16v????? :( i dont know where to look!!!

little help:)

Hi yes they are different for the 16v.

Green is proving to be very good.

We have done a couple of GB on these and all I hear is good stuff about them.

Quite reasonable price too!

is there any difrence with green filter?

There was alot of talk that the K & N one had too much oil in it and that was affecting the MAF.

Since I have worked here we have only delt with the Green Cotton ones.

But then I suppose if they did manage to produce a better one then we would go on to that.

But at the moment Green Cotton are good and we sell LOADS of them.

I posted out 2 yesterday and that would be an average of what I post out.

But if your intrested get in touch via phone or PM and I will see what I can do to help.

Thanks

Sarah

is there any difrence with green filter?

It probably performs similarly to the K&N, but is a drier, slightly less oily filter which means that there is slightly less risk of contaminating the MAF :D

I doubt you'd gain anything significant from changing the air filter to either Green or K&N (sorry Mil ;)), maybe 1 or 2bhp at most. The real benefit is that it will provide more consistent breathing for the car as it can be cleaned, unlike the paper one which is changed every 40k miles here.

Chris

It made a difference on mine.....but only because the standard paper one was clogged solid .....the green filter just lets a bit more air through a little bit easier but you won't notice the difference between it and a new paper filter

K&N claim 5bhp with the air filter I got.
