Featured Replies

Just wondering what common mods that people do to there MK1 fabias, just as normally commons mods to do that are nice and simple but make sometimes the better improvement,

312mm brake upgrade

cupra console bushes

good tyres

Those are the best mods you can do in my opinion :)

Rear anti-roll bar is the best single mod I have done to the VRS.

All of the above are the beat mods, also the Elephant mod doesn't cost much, my engine runs smoother after I done that. An alternative to a PD160 intake can be made for next to nothing like I did thanks to joe_vrs_tdi

leon cupra splitter finishes the font off nicely imo

Hmm had thoughts about these, some people say yes others say no..

Whats the elephant mod?

Basically a breather pipe goes from the top of the crankcase back into the inlet manifold, the breather pipe carries a hot oily vapour back into it and straight into the turbo, the elephant mod is a pipe going from the crankcase to below the car or into an oil catch can so there is clean air getting into the inlet instead of oily vapour going back into it, search elephant mod there is a guide to it, takes around 15-30 minutes very simple job.

Yeah, i think i need a new front anyway as i want to hide the front mount now and the bumper is cut up to allow for it so will do when i get a new bumper, but cant seem to find any!

I was planning on fitting a oil catch tank anyway, so will give this a go, thanks!

No one mention lowering? Coilovers are most common, I would say. Low budget JOMS, medium budget Ap or weitec and high budget air.

Top mounts, bearings and bushes.

Bought the cars with JOM's already on, thinking about changing them though, not keen on them, and i want air, but silly money lol!
