vrs owner with problems....

Featured Replies

Hello all,

I not long brought a 2003 octavia vrs great car and ideal for my needs but it has developed a problem which im struggling to fix.

There is a vibration through the clutch pedal whilst pushing it down then a rattle one fully depressed, I was told it was the dmf so I had that and the release bearing done on friday but the problem has come stright back??

I was also told the flywheel was rubbing the sump slightly when fitted??

The old flywheel had fresh rubbing marks on the back from where it had rubbed before?

Ive been told its the crank maybe but all the research ive done the vrs cranks are reliable, there are no knocking noises and the car pulls and drive well with no issues exept the cluch pedal, can anybody please help me so I cam enjoy this car :'(

Hi and welcome aboard.

Go onto the Octavia section and someone there will be able to help you.
