I've noticed over the last few months that my spoiler's colour is fading a bit, probably due to the sun shining on it? Is there any simple way to bring back the colour so it matches the rest of the car like it used to?

Very common problem, the next stage is that the laquer will start to bubble and peel...

What colour is your vRS, red seems to fade first.

Afrer T-cutting the fade out 4-5 times I had my red spoiler resprayed, £100. Looks like new. Well worth it, if you have bait of spare cash.

Autoglym Paint Renovator followed by Autoglym Super Resin Polish should smarten it up a bit - does the job when our (red) Fabias roof spoiler starts to fade.

Thanks everyone for your helpful comments My Octy is red and when you look at the car from an angle the fade on the spoiler is very evident. :( I'll buy a few of the products you guys mentioned and perhaps eventually get the spoiler re-sprayed.

As others have said the vRS spoilers are weak points; the lacquer starts to peel then exposes the paint.....only fix is a full respray......get it done somewhere decent it may never happen again i wouldnt say that the factory finish where paintwork is concerned is the best on a Skoda.

I'm going to have the spoiler resprayed sometime this summer Can anyone recommend any spraying companies that do very good quality jobs in Kent/Surrey? It's a shame i'm no longer doing a spray painting course, i could have done the job myself for free
