As the title says, when was ESP first offered as an option on the Octavia vRS?

It wasn't listed as an option in the 05/03 price list but is in the 07/04 one.

Mine came with ESP and was 1st reg'd 03/04:confused:

I emailed SkodaUK to ask, their response came this afternoon:

"The ESP has always been an optional factory fitted extra on our vehicles

and has been available since the launch of the Octavia vRS in 2001."
