Gauges

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I'm thinking of modding the gauges in my mk1 TDI Octy does anyone no if the vrs speedo will be a direct fit .?

Thanks

Is it just the speedo you want to change?

The Vrs one will fit as its only a plastic sheet that you need to change but with the different rev range etc its not really worth it. You could probably get the insert from a golf/ bora tdi which would be a better choice

Or you might be able to use a Fabia Vrs one like this??

Would need a small cutout for the 2nd clock adjuster

Hi man, I have one off a diesel Leon Cupra if you want, same rev range and will fit. You can use the plasic method as used above, that's what i did with my old toledo. They are white gauges

Sorry to jump in but..............

do the cupra TDi gauge's ( plastic dial cover in white ) fit right on the TDi octavia dial's ( mine is a mk1 pre-facelift 1999 GLX 90 bhp ) ?

Thanks Marko

* Speedo and the rev counter *

Yes they'll fit, I'm almost certain there's a thread here with the cupra gauges in an octavia
