Ok i've bought an s3 neo and due to the fact the cig lighter plug in my fabia vrs is near the middle i've got to almost certainly hard wire this baby in.

Ok couple of questions...

1) To be cheeky has anyone done this before and can talk me through it easily?

2) Which positive should I connect it to (was thinking stereo)

3) If it is best to connect to stereo which colour wire on the back of the stereo is the AC ON power lead?

I took my power from the back of the light switch. There is a switched and a constant live there. Just be careful taking it out as you might scratch the dash. IMHO better than the stereo as it is easier to get to (in terms of not having to try and put all the stereo leads back in).

Took ours straight from the back of the fuse panel. It's on a switched supply.
