p0236 error code....

Featured Replies

well got yet another warning on the dashh code reads p0236. turbo sesnors gone apparently..

anyone able to lend a hand with what to do? fed up so might hand it back.

if it is the same as the diesel turbo's check the vacuum line going down to the wastegate actuator on the turbo, check for twists or holes,

on the diesels is these rubber vacuum lines fail or you can't get vacuum to the actuator it throws an error code due to the boost not being in the expected range

Torn diaphragm in the actuator?

Split intercooler?

none of the above. the car fixed itself... engine light off and codes cleared off the reader... i removed the tmc and itg when it came up.. xleared off the dash this evening.... strange one.

expect it to pop up again in a few days, it is normally not enough boost for the level requested

sticking vanes in the turbo?

Italian tune up time ?

I knew it was gonna be the tmc check your connections were tight many a person has had a problem, With similar engine codes poping up when the connections from sensor to tmc have come loose. This happened to a friend of sharkrider.

Guess i was lucky never happened when i had a tmc fitted

Thats what I think has caused the error. Seems fine and dandy now but I'll give it a few days. The plugs were on nice and tight but once I get around to sticking it back on hopefully it wont happen again.
