Yep thanks @JR RS your guide helped a lot it was just I thought the image with 6c35 in the picture was from your car and I couldn’t work out where 30c5 came from and didn’t understand that c9d2 was a default value But that’s one thing with the people on this forum, always prepared to help and with all the different time zones and knowledge there is always some one to help

Thank you @Cairus @Binx1310 ive got Hex-net but when reading @JR RS guide it showed “confirmation of installation change” 6c35 in the picture and then 30c5 and c9d2 in the text and I couldn’t work out where the 3 came from 🤪😖 I blame all the fumes trying to get the tape off the front bumper

Well I’ve finally been able to start on the Superb, finally got the old number plates off and the 2 ton of double sided tape before fitting the number plate surrounds and Personal Plates 😜 then updated the Gracenote, the maps and the radio station logos, tried to work out how to use XOR calculator, and couldn’t make head or tail of it so gave up and went to look for some migraine tablets 😖🤪 I noticed this lil sod in here Haven’t got a clue how to get him out… And I’ve got 2 of these…. Hopefully one will fit into the armrest and the 2nd into the ashtray at the back of the centre console, ,, can’t remember if these are normal or fast chargers but the cable (from Aliexpress is a red plug with only 2 pins used ( no other pins in the plug)

That looks Very smart, the roof rails do make such an impact, I’m still waiting on my first delivery from AliExpress to turn up,,, the 2nd one has just left the factory….. now I’ve had to make a 3rd one to get the little tool Widgety thing as I’m gonna need it to run the rear dash cam cable to the back when I actually get a chance to work on the car 🤪

Please can anyone help me out?? im currently running MHI2_ER_SKG13_P4177 ( 1125) and was hoping to upgrade to MHI2_ER_SKG13_P4526 (1440) so to get the "Sports (Performance) Monitor" ive been able to get MHI2_ER_SKG13_P4526_1_AIO_MU1440_20230504 and HIGH2_P450_EU_202625 but now the mibsolution.one site is down and i cant get the rest of the files i need to start the process can anyone please share the files or help me with a link to where i can get them Thank you

Yep, I’ve got one Premier express so that should turn up in a week /a month / three months …. whenever, 😆 i’ve just bought a cheap pack of the rods to pull the cables through or at least pull a cord from the front of the car to the back through the headlining and then I can pull the two cable straight through to the dash cam and then run it down alongside the rest of the cables from the roof headlining/ interior lights down to the glove box I wasn’t sure about the aerial, so it might have been something stupid like when I called the glovebox unit out to check the model might loosen something, but reading some of the posts seems as problems we walk getting in and the amplifiers in the roof but I’ll have a look at that later … about 2 o’clock in the morning when I get home…. I think this is where I miss some of the steps, cause I’m too bloody knackered for it to all sink in 😜🤪.

Well TECHNICALLY nothin is goin to get done on the Supurb today. as i need to get things done on the Exeo ( so i can park it up & get the Superb on the road) but while waiting for the laundry to finish,,, i did order a paint kit from Chipex, a reversing camera 2 usb rear units and cables ( thinking one in arm rest and one below rear heating controls) and a wiring pull kit , for reversing cam wiring and Nextbase rear cam installation. i ran a scan yesterday with VCDS and cleared loads of old codes, i then replaced the 2 fobs batteries and ran another scan ( after 45 miles and letting it rest for 30 mins) and it only came back with 2 errors 1555 - Check Software Version Management B201A 00 [00001001] 0012 - Digital Radio Antenna B1103 11 [00001001] - Short to Ground So not too bad, i'll get round to working out what the problems could be one evenining this week iv already updated the SW to the latest version, so must have missed a step somewhere

iv has simular wing dynamic repeaters on my exeo so was going to do the same on the Superb( dynamic mirror indicators,,, before some one gets smart 😝) then saw your post about replacing mirror glas and thought ... sod that for a game of soldiers... yep unfortuanitly insurance companys will try and use any reason not to pay out a claim, so any modifications would need to be notified to them ,,, but then even that may not be enough,,, as if they wanted to get finiky they could always pick on items that arnt genuine parts, like bulbs that arnt the correct type for the car or dont have the right type approval 🤪

Thanks @nta16 yep i know theres more than just Amazon, but i (try) to weigh up price to when i "need" it with Amazon doing next day delivery that usely wins... unless ive got no time to fit it 😉 Yeah i downloaded the owners manuals for the 66, 67 and 69 cars incase there were diferences in the cars, as i was looking at ALL versions and models )hatch & estate) trying to find something i liked and was local ish (ended getting a car 100 miles away 🤪) i went on the update portal as soon as i got my car, unfortunatly no updates available as the car is too "old" so found alternative links on this site and MIB-Helper updated some yesterday and still got some more to do but work is getting in the way, id checked the recall page on sunday and according to that my car isnt affected by anything ( id previously had to have my mums DS3 and my Exeo airbags replaced) i read about the battery problems ( cant remember if it was Octavia Fabia or Superb ) but as i live in a flat, i am trying to work out who i can "visit" and charge itup, as its been in a dealers forecourt for a while im sure there is a good chance it can do with a charge ive got 1 more day of temp insurance so its going to be sitting for a week or so untill the V5 arrives and i can change the number plate 😁 and ive also booked it in for cam belt & WP DSG service & oil change, ( ive already done the filters , well not the fuel filter) in a couple of weeks the tyres are neeehh, at the moment, some brand ive never heard of but im going to leave them for a couple of month untill ive "stopped playing" with the eco/confort/normal/sport setting as im sure its not doing the tyres any good 😇 oh and yes 2017 is a new car to me too, always had older cars as there wasnt anything i liked that was newer (in my limited price range) until i bought a 2010 Seat Exeo in 2016 now im fed up changing suspension arms ( had 2 passats previously) so want for a Superb ( ive got VCDS, not that ive done much with it 🤪) and if you've made it to the end of this reply...... just be aware it only this long so i can propely respond to your post ...
