just got a new fabia vrs tsi, surprised how cheap the insurance is im only 18 and its £1000 a year! worried about this oil consumption tho :S

welcome, now enjoy your car and don't worry, if it uses oil add it, if it doesn't then don't add it, simple as that! So go and drive it as it should be driven.

Cheap tax & insurance, bosting little cars.

Just dip your oil level weekly & compare with your mileage, that way you know how much oil per 1000miles you are using.

I had mine at 18 and i was suprised with how cheap it was to insure aswell :D

Mine never used a drop of oil, it was also the press car that skoda have pics of on their site

heard that if you do high millage it doesn't use as much oil, good thing I drive from Coventry to Banbury most days, also did you see a mpg increase with the remap?

I thought mine was slightly better day to day as ypud dint have to use asmuch peddle but that was wishful tjinking probabaly
