Octavia vRS headlight tinted and rear tailights part tinted

Featured Replies

Hi all

Thought I'd share, just tinted my headlights and part of the taillights with Foliatec smoke tint spray. Not the easiest stuff to work with but a chose a warm, sunny non windy day and left the lights on the car - lazy I know. I spent most of the task taping newspaper around the lights with masking tape to protect from overspray (their was lots of overspray).

I'm pleased with the overall result. Just a shame Skoda didn't think to tint or fit black inner headlight parts to begin with on the vRS model back in 2008. I was going to change the rear lights to the FL model versions as the vRS already has the mandatory MOT pass reflectors in the rear bumper but I may stay with my tinted versions for a now.

Here's some pictures.

going to do mine maybe. sod spraying them though! lamin x... dead easy!

Pleased you like the result.

As for me - It's a no.

I love the look of crystal clear lighting. I like to see totally clear glass with the bulbs doing all the colouring work etc.

Tinted just looks too much like the Saxo's, Corsa's I see on a daily basis.
