Wondering if anyone else with a vrs has noticed a significant woosh and dumping noise with turbo. Its the same with or without tmc fitted. Had it in work today to finslise the dreaded oil consumption job and the tech noticed it was quite noisey. I never really noticed as I got it as an ex demo already like that lol

Mine does this, has done since new 18 months ago.

I think its normal, i have the windows down in summer, boot it and listen just for that whoooshh. Love it!

I'm the same love it just the tech got me abitt concerned. It runs fine sounds great lol

Was it one of their Demonstrators?

I hope they are not saying they have never heard of any problems with high oil usage.

Have they got used to how much oil there should be in a Twincharger yet,? Just 3.6 litres and not 3.9.

Im certainly used to the oil consumption lol not sure about the oil quantities to be honest. Yes I got an ex salesmans demonstrator.

If you go an get induction when supercharger running you get a nice induction drone (well i do, love it) when giving it some throttle in 2nd you can the supercharger wine. If i wasnt using a bit too much oil i wouldnt have a problem with the car

i might well have had a wee shotty in yours, before it was yours obviously.

it went well.

i would be annoyed if they did not make a noise, supercharger, supercharger/turbo and then turbo.

hopefully you will be all sorted out.

Nipping along in D7,

and just drop the stick back to 'S' where it drops to 'S4', then give it some throttle,

thats my favourite noise from them.

Yes it was the 12 plate with 2000 on the clock now 8000. Itg is the next plan. Could have possibly been mine with with black grille standard white roof?

mine makes the woosh dump valve noise, always has, when its quiet, I sometimes just go on and off the throttle slightly just to hear it

Turbo woosh is good, nothing wrong there, that's just what they do!
