Just got an ex demo 1600 miles in racing blue,and a large cheque,for my 61 plate evo x fq360,I have to say quite shocked at the vrs acceleration in sport,there is very little difference between the two cars,obviously round corners there is,but in a straight line the vrs appears as quick,possibly due to the vrs being smaller,lighter and the engine sounding noisy,the x was pretty quiet,also there is the considerable financial savings,a solitary tear rolled down my face when I handed over the x's keys,but I really have not missed it.Got the vrs from a dealer in Crewe,and the evo went to a dealer in Biddulph,I save about £2300 a year by having a vrs,very happy,my last three cars were civic type r,mazda 3mps and the evo,and on first impressions the vrs is as good as any,lets hope I can say that in a year.Over and out.
