Yes it does.

Gets you an extra 10 or so litres after the three clicks from the fuel pump (typically 50 - 52 litres from the organge light coming on for me).

Thanks for the information. However, at a quick glance, I cannot see what needs doing to open the chamber - there does not appear to be a button (as on my VRs) but there are three radially-arranged bars sitting over the neck of the main filler pipe.

I assume the expansion tank is to allow the fuel to expand, as the name would suggest. If it's full of fuel already, then no expansion.

what happens on a petrol if you hold that button in is the fuel backs up down the breather system, filling up the charcoal canister and they knackers the ACF valve for the vent recirculation.

Ahhh..... just as well I couldnt see the mystery switch when I looked for it the other day then!

If the potential is there to press this button accidentally, why is it located in that position?
