RNS 510 (Columbus) POI format

Featured Replies

Hi,

Just bought my second Yeti and it comes with the Columbus RNS.

Up till now I have used a Tom Tom for navigation and Pocket GPS speed cameras (OV2 format)

I understand that I can upload POI's to the HDD of the RNS via the SD card but can not find the correct file format for POI's - any ideas?

Thanks in anticipation.

its a custom format, you need to use a tool such as poinspect0r to convert from OV2 to the required format. You'll end up with a .db3 file to copy onto the SD card, which the columbus will import.
