Skoda have had a few 100 years aniversarys over the years I can think of at least two others.

I saw it today, there is nothing new that you can't read in the history section of this site. At only 3 pages long it was only going to be brief anyway.

Well Skoda as a company were formed in the mid 1860's

The car division were formed in 1895 as Laurin and Klement (hence the trim level) and this centenery was celebrated in 1995 (olnly Daimler-benz and Peugeot are older)

Laurin and Klement built their first car in 1905 (hence this one)

Laurin and Klement became part of Skoda in the 1920's

Although Skoda did build the Hispano-Suiza under license about 5 years before they brought L&K and was not part of a consistent car building srategy
