Hi all , On my way home from work just now and my DV was making a funny noise like i had a badly split pipe . I opened the bonnet to find my DV had popped of the tip . Luckly i had a screw driver to put the jublie clip back on . The DV has been on for 2-3 years nothing like this happened before

Has this happened to anyone before ?

Also my car has been using some oil , not alot just over half on the marker on the dip stick . Top it up roughly every 2 months . This is the only time in 5 years this has happened . Topped it up twice now .

I thought turbo maybe on its way out but theres no smoke on start up . No white or blue smoke whilst driving it . Cant see it at the back of the engine , nothing . Boost is the same not dropped or over boosting . Any ideas ? Could the 2 be together or just one of them things ?

Turbo sticking/seizing up then the build up of pressure would cause the dv to pop off?
