Hi has anyone on here got a nearside rear caliper for sale for the octy vrs mk1? Need one soon as the piston on mine has seized up so I think I need to replace the whole caliper.

Caliper is around 70 quid, not too much.

Piston kit and seals could be about £45-50 anyway. Just get a new one.

I need to do both sides though. So I might have to get x 2 calipers. The boot on O/S is knackered and the piston has seized(gone wonky) on N/S.

No other option mate. Dare I say it you should have kept some cash aside for these sort of jobs? Its not a new car...

True its not, but I would expect a car like this to be fairly reliable seeing as it's suppose to be 99% german. My Renault 172 cup didn`t have issues like this with the braking system falling apart, boots deteriorating, pistons seizing up and that was the same age with higher mileage..
