boot lock problems

Featured Replies

Yesterday I called into the local Skoda dealer for new wiper blade replacements (part of the lease deal)

I also asked them to check the boot as it's taking 3 attempts to open it with the fob. Thinking it was a minor key issue, it turns out somehow water has got in causing some corrosion to the electrics and a sensor failure. The parts are being ordered next week, with it's first MOT due the week after, so I may just wait and get everything sorted together. We may have this car for another 7 weeks, before the new arrives. Can't say I'm put off with the above problem though
