I think that I will stop dipping as it seems to be meaningless. When light comes on I have a small bottle in the trunk and will top up as necessary. So far in 7k miles no lights of any kind on the dash so I do not really care :D. I decided I will be enjoying the car and not feeding it with oil which it might not need afterall lol.
