Hello, my names Jamie and I'm new to the forum.

I have a white Fabia VRS and owned it for a few months now.

Since owning it though I have had a world of problems some more worrying than others.

My main concern being a cutting out & starting issue. The second is a lumpy running issue. Not sure if they are part of the same problem. Obviously I have been breif about the issues so I am hoping to create a new post in another catagory to list all the details about it. I've also searched the forum & google and found nothing the same, only similarities.

I also don't have a lot of experience using forums so bare with me!!

I Know, I first found it on eBay in october and fell in love with it straight way (got a bit of a thing for white cars tbh) so for the price I bought it for and the bits it came with was a no brainer.

It came with (obviously) a white paintjob,

Black Audi TT competition Alloys,

Brand new tyres all round,

A private plate JJ53 VRS,

Spare ECU.

85000 miles.

Bought it all for £1600

However the seller was of course shady, hence the price, and the cars had a very chequered past. Since owning have found out it has been Written off twice (Cat D first in 2004, Then Cat C in 2010)

It's had 8 Previous owners.

Strangely enough every interior panel looks as if it were removed at some point as some have surface marks and arn't seated properly, the strange bit being that it wasn't all out to be sprayed..

Paint isnt fantastic, the more I look at the paint finish the more imperfections I find.

Cut springs.

Lower dog bone mount bush was gone.

One day I can make it 100% mint, but bad points aside I do like the fact I'm driving a bit of a 1 off and I am actually shocked at its performance, fast and handles brilliantly.
