Car Alarm Problems

Featured Replies

Has anyone any experience of the car alarm going off constantly on their MK1 Fabia VRS?

This started on mine after driving home from work tonight for no apparent reason. I recently had the alternator clutch pulley replaced but surely that wouldn't have any effect would it?

Does anyone know if the siren can be disconnected and it's location?

IT'S DRIVING ME CRAZY!

It's not something stupid like a loose wire is it? After the alternator being removed maybe?

Cheers mate will get right on it, I think the neighbours are getting a little hissed off!

Checked everything I can see, pull, poke and prod and nothing seems amiss, all seems tight and in one piece, the alarm has not sounded for about 35 minutes so, fingers crossed it's maybe been a temperature cum thermally related problem. I know, clutching at straws but, all I want is a nights uninterrupted sleep. (For me and the neighbours).
