is there a thing u can do to make it so when u unlock the car the sidelights come on?

I doubt it very much! The light is on a mech switch I believe makes this impossible? I might be wrong

I think Korban can sort you out!

You can only activate an indicator flash with vagcom.

A pikey solution would be to wire the side lights into the interior light loom with a diode. Not very nice though.

The Korban method is pretty much the best way as it can give you auto lights too.

I've used the same approach on my polo and it's quite good. .
