OCC (Saikou Michi) leaking from bleed valve

Featured Replies

Evening all

My OCC appears to have an issue with the bleed valve. When the engine is running I can feel 'air' pulsing from the nipple.

Not sure if it is related, but my LTFT has gone up a little (now at -3.1). Could somebody knowledgeable please educate me on this one.

Failing that, can you identify by part number the following 2 PCV hoses, think I might try to go back to stock:

Can you not contact Saikou Michi and get a new bleed valve ?

Best being replaced by silicone ones for longevity available off ebay or site sponsers

I could but I don't think this is working for my engine as there wasn't that much gunk in the pipes nor the OCC (before I broke it, that is). Does the leak class as a vacuum leak then? any relation with LTFT or should I keep pulling bits out the bay?

Yeah this is a vacuum leak. Also a leak of blow-by gases when on boost.

Going back to the standard system will certainly give you loads of space back in the engine bay and make things look much neater.

Go fluorosilicone where you can. Probably also worthwhile replacing the one-way valve and PCV.
