2 years later, and this lands on my drive. So it just goes to prove...... Once you want a Yeti, you'll always want a Yetipost-102280-0-72448600-1435182452_thumb.jpg

Quite a tale you tell there and at last you have, what we sincerely hope will be, a reliable and pleasing Yeti.  Not a great lover of black cars but it looks smart at the moment, that's for sure. Good luck.

Ah, is that a MY16? There must be a few around by now?

I second Als Auto's.

Since this thread has come back to life...

For the record, ALS near Ely are now primarily Suzuki dealers. They're continuing to service Skoda and I think - for the time being at least - can still order new Skoda models, but Skoda is no longer where their prime sales focus is. (Apparently, SUK didn't like their present semi-rural location and wanted them to move to a town-centre location some considerable distance away. They politely declined the offer and, I believe, explained to SUK where to go, hence the move to Suzuki.)

HORROR STORY TIME

Couldn't wait to get my Yeti - had wanted one ever since they came out. Finally my 2.0TDI SE in Grey arrived and I was over the moon. For 24 hours anyway.........

After three weeks of Skoda HELL I have rejected my Yeti. Was delivered without being prepared properly (Walkers of Kings Lynn - be warned!) and with two other faults - mis-aligned door and sticking electric window. Then a piece of trim fell off. Then the window fixed itself. It went back to the dealer for a whole day who replaced the trim but didn't bother with removing the glue or fixing the door. Was furious when I got it back - and even more so when skoda revealed that they had ordered the dealer to fill my car up with diesel as an apology - which they hadn't even done!!!!!

Then I accepted further compensation to keep the car, but with 3 days the dashboard started rattling and the engine management light came on!!!!!

So car has gone back and I am put off new cars for life - have bought a 2nd hand Volvo V50.

Disgraceful dealer, and what should have been the best car of my life has turned out to be the worst. Very very disappointed.

Sorry to hear your sad story Ricky, sounds like Walkers of Kings Lynn has let you down and NOT Skoda.

There are MANY satisfied owners here, but we all appreciate your frustration and hope you decide to remain a member here even though you now own a Volvo.

(another fine vehicle)
