Hi Folks

Could someone out there who has a wiring diagram for a mk2 octy 09 please have a look and tell me at the light switch what colours the sidelights wire and number plate wire are as I'm fitting a Korban (mk1 fabia forum member) coming home light kit.

I don't think it's quite what I need as it doesn't say what wires are what

The colours are there. They use german abbreviations so ge = gelb translates to yellow and so on. Google should help with a key eg

Our 2019 190 TDI was in the local, friendly, Škoda dealership for its 3rd annual service today. On collecting the car, the Service Manager told us that they'd performed a software update on the ECU but she didn't know what it was for; only that Škoda had mandated it. Has anyone else had this performed or know what it's for? TIA

On a journey from Cotswolds to Mid Wales (109 miles), I achieved 69mpg. Anyone else achieving similar returns? Journey was part motorway - M5, Gloucester to Worcester South - then Kidderminster, Bridgenorth, Shrewsbury. Cheers

Yesterday, on the way back from work, my car suddenly had a stop start error and the EPC light came on, the car functions completely normal and there's no difference in how it was driving before... My friend used a obd2 scanner which showed no fault codes on the ECU, cleared it and the light and error went away, I drove a bit and there are no lights or errors on the car, I was just wondering what could have caused this as online it says anything from turbo waste gate or actuator problems to a

Fuse for glove box light?

The light in the glove box has stopped working. I know the bulb is okay, and I’ve used a multimeter across the contacts on the connector which is showing no voltage at all. Going through the list of fuses, the glovebox light fuse is not listed separately or even as a part of other lighting. It would be useful to know the correct fuse and if any other items also tie to it, since everything else works fine and it can narrow it down to the switch. Thanks in advance!
