MK3 wheel fitting - same as MK2?

Featured Replies

Hey all

Does anyone know if the wheel fitment for the MK3 is the same as the MK2?

I'm thinking of getting a new set of 18" alloys for the MK2, then using them for winter tyres on the MK3 when I order it later this year/early next. Obviously it's a lot of cash to throw at a car now if I can't use them on the new one!

Cheers

Danny

did a bit of searching and I think they are the same:

MK2 info & MK3 info.

Please correct me if I (and the website) am wrong!

Hi there, you're spot on! I'm on the brink of ordering a 1.4 Elegance and I'm gonna trade in my VRS FL. I've looked into dimensions as I have 'winters' for my Neptune alloys and quite fancy opting for 18''s on the Elegance and their a perfect match, winner! I must also point out that I would stick on the VRS path but I have to swap the car in September (12 month old) as I'm in the tax free game and would lose money on the part ex if I delayed - does anyone estimate when the VRS's will be available for delivery?

Regards

Richie
