Just an update I went out and started the car and the light is still on constant but the turbo and power has returned. Thanx again guys I'm not mechanically minded really. Lol

Did it happen under power? Just cut out and went into limp home mode?

More than likely its a safety measure as your turbo is overboosting!

9/10 times it will be sticking turbo vanes! Have a search for mr muscle turbo clean on here for more info

Hey jase. Yeah it happened when I put the foot down in 5th to overtake another car. Do ya think it is something to worry about or just a simple fix?

Yeah limp mode! Over boosting turbo!

If you keep it as it is it will end up killing the turbo or going into limp mode every 5 mins!

Id start by getting the fault code scanned, should show an overboost! Then clean the turbo out! Lofty on here has made a good guide
