White/Grey Smoke. Maf related?

Featured Replies

Noticed when accelerating hard I'm noticing grey/white smoke. Also it isn't pulling that hard.

I'm unfortunately taking it back to Skoda as there is still excessive vibration from the engine on idle and it sounds rough.

Could the smoke, vibration and lack of oomph point to an issue with the maf or maf sensor? It doesn't seem to be drinking fuel excessively. Just concerned about the grey smoke.

i read your other thread it may be related to the boost hoses that u had changed under warranty. could be the maf but could be that one of the boost hoses is not seated correctly therefor wont pull that hard and would probably cause smoke.

Hoping it's more that than the camshaft tbh! Pain in the ass taking it in again as it was almost instant that the vibrationproblem reappeared. They replaced the hoses and said the vibration was down to the cooling fan seizing....
