Module Incorrectly Coded

Featured Replies

Finally I remembered where I put this report.....

Address 19: CAN Gateway Labels: 1K0-907-530-V3.clb

Control Module Part Number: 1K0 907 530 L HW: 1K0 907 951

Component and/or Version: J533 Gateway H07 0052

Software Coding: E9807F0E0002021303

Work Shop Code: WSC 73430 790 12345

VCID: 3041F3FDA3EFD39891C

1 Fault Found:

01044 - Control Module Incorrectly Coded

000 - -

Freeze Frame:

Fault Status: 01100000

Fault Priority: 1

Fault Frequency: 1

Mileage: 145902 km

Time Indication: 0

Date: 2000.00.00

Time: 14:21:50

........I get this when in the CAN Gateway coding, but I can't see (unless I'm being really stupid) which module it is. The attached screenshot comes up too. Not knowing what it's going to recode, I've selected No so far.

The only things I can think of is the RCD310 and/or the MDI, as they're the only things that are not standard and much younger than the rest of the car (technologically speaking)

Anyone throw any light on this please?

Take a note of the coding (E9807F0E0002021303) and then click Yes so that puts valid data in all the controller parameters. It should reuse the existing coding.

Cheers, will give that a go tomorrow. :)

simple solution to identify which is the offending item

Do an Autoscan

If the item is not in the installation it will show malfunction or not registered

If you added something not there it will scan the part but won't list the info for that address
