Currently have a 3yr old yeti which I love to bits but have been offered one of those "offers you cant refuse" deals on a new Octy Elegance and not being familiar with this forum just wondered what you guys more knowledgeable on this car think ?

Basically I would be saving a lot per month and have a new car with toys aplenty, cash in hand, and new warranty and free servicing.

I love my yeti but I also like the new Octy. Any thoughts and unbiased ? views ?

I'm switching from a Superb to Octy and from my limited time in an Octy so far it feels like a step up in quality. I've not had any experience in the Yeti other than a quick look at the showroom but I understand it's quality is on par with the Superb so on that basis, I don't think you would be disappointed with a new Octy. I guess you might miss the 4x4, I think the Octy is currently only available with 4x4 in SE trim and in Estate, so you may be better off waiting until the model range grows a bit more. Anyway, got to dash, off to catch a train to go pick up my new Octy, hence tne early bird post!

It sounds like the change would be a win/win for you tbh. The yeti is great but ill be looking for an Octavia later this year, mainly due to its increased room and the fact I fancy being back under warranty cover again!

Yes I must admit the slight worries I have about a 3 yr old car is the big "if" it were to go tits up it probably wont be cheap to put right, but the whole package as a whole is really such a good deal because I am getting a very high trade in deal on the yeti which means I can go for a very high spec Octy and save myself almost £150 a month plus free servicing for 3 years, new warranty, better fuel consumption, cheaper tax etc.

The major big miss is the ride height, but as all trade ins are pros and cons then for me at the moment there are more pros than cons.

If I order one it will be black with the beige interior in the elegance with the Columbus etc. Anyone have a black one and let me know of it suits the car as I have not seen a black Octy in the flesh, but thought if going for the beige interior it would look very nice within a black model.
