So bought a roof rack and am wanting to know what the best thing to use for getting the cover pieces out of the roof?

I usually use a small flat bladed screwdriver to prise them out. They are a bugger though as invariably one or two tabs snap.

They just pop out!

If you wanted to be cautious you could wrap some electrical insulation round the end if your scared or slipping or use something plastic?

Went with the small screwdriver. I only asked as in the instructions for the roofrack it says to use a plastic screwdriver and I've never seen one of them
