You do need to use the correct spec oil in these cars without doubt, sadly many dealers do not know what goes into what, I think you did the right thing getting it done properly for peace of mind.

VAG and Fuchs are working together to bring out an oil that meets all the VW codes, a one stop shop if you like, we will certainly be stocking it as soon as it is available, no date set yet as they are asessing the demand! my biggest worry is what the cost of this oil is going to be.
