Have read that the previous 1,2-1,4 tsi engines could use a lot of oil, does anyone of you who has recieved you new cars experienced anything like that on you new cars???

Not sure I've heard of oil consumption issues with them over here. Friends have the 1.2 and the 1.4 in the Yeti and they, like me, have never needed to top up.

I had the 1.4TSI in my 1st mkII Octy. It never used a drop in 12 months/6000 miles and is more or less the same engine? If it helps I ran it in according to the instructions in the manual. HTH

The 1.4tsi (twin charged) engine in the Fabia vRS uses oil. The seem to have fixed this though with the latest engines.

Very true, but that isn't an octy 3 engine.
