Hi

Just had a new compressor fitted to the air-conditioning under warranty as wasn't working (had 6 month when purchased) but now I have a hissing sound under the center of my dash near the air vents. I've had a/c in cars before and never heard this noise . Has anyone experienced any similar problems with their a/c?

If I hit the eco button to shut off a/c it stops..

Low pressure on the gas can sound like this. Did they regas when fitting the new compressor? If not and you can get it hooked up to vcds, look at the pressure measurement - it should be between 5 and 6 bar at engine rest. I know this as I have just regassed and mine was 5.6 immediately after.

It was re-gassed Yes. I will be taking it back tomorrow I think to see what they say.

I would for sure, I guess it is possible it wasn't sealed properly.
