My fabia vrs has 70k on the clock and last month the clutch started slipping a little bit after a long drive to the lakes it has been fine for weeks but I just got the car remapped today and now it is slipping bad, every time I put my foot down! Anyone got any advice on where to get a replacement at a good price

But the one it of advice I would give is also get the flywheel done at the same time.

I would start with the forum sponsors (both garages, EG Jabbasport/Shark/Unit 18 etc & parts suppliers like DPM Performance etc) as they may be able to offer some kind of discount. After that, it's a simple google search I would say

x2. Maintenance before mods. As for a replacement, sachs direct are suppose to be good (via ebay I think) or ECP with the discount code from here.

Yeah your all right I should have got it checked out but it only happened once and I forgot all about it I guess I was too excited about the map and made a schoolboy error admittedly I'm not the most clued up motorist and its a lesson learned, anyway the clutch will be fixed soon and the map is all good cheers for the advice

Depends on the driver and the map but a standard clutch is normally fine for a S1, then again if the cost of an uprated pack from a known brand isn't that much more its worth considering.
